You are cordially invited to join our “Learning and Teaching @EdUHK Festival 2024” with the theme “Learning and Teaching for Future Readiness”. The Festival is launched from February to May 2024 and serves as a platform for academic/ teaching staff, students of the University, and local/ overseas academics and researchers to share innovative learning and teaching approaches, to promote the application of technology-enhanced pedagogies, and to exchange best practices in learning and teaching. Programme details are as follows: 

Open Class Observation

The Open Class Observation aims to promote and strengthen professional sharing and exchange of different teaching practices among EdUHK academic and teaching staff members and EdUHK students. Starting from February 2024, 19 classes will be open to all colleagues and students for sharing learning and teaching strategies. Most of the open classes will be conducted in hybrid mode. You are welcome to visit the Open Class Observation page for further details. Please act fast and grab the chance to register here as spaces are limited. 

Undergraduate/ Postgraduate Student Sharing 

To provide opportunities for students’ participation and to promote reflective and peer learning, Undergraduate/ Postgraduate Student Sharing will be hosted featuring keynote speeches and presentations by outstanding students and alumni. All colleagues and students are welcome to join. The “Undergraduate Student Sharing” is scheduled for 29 February 2024 at EdUHK campus and the “Postgraduate Student Sharing cum Doctoral Student Consortium” is scheduled for 24 April 2024 at the International Congress on Educational Futures 2024 (ICEF 2024).  More details will be announced soon.

Poster Board Exhibition 

Poster boards will be displayed in the corridor on the lower podium of Block D1 from February to May 2024 to showcase the learning and teaching accomplishments of EdUHK. All colleagues and students are welcome to watch the exhibits on-site or online.

Video Showcase 

Videos about learning and teaching experiences as well as some innovative and vibrant teaching activities will be broadcast from February to May 2024. All colleagues and students are welcome to watch the videos shown on the TVs in the corridor on the G/F of Block B2 and D2 or online. (Newly added)
